History
Evoflux began in the year 2000 as a simple place where a group of friends could congregate even though they were spread all over half the world. Since then it has evolved from using forums and blogs into becoming a multifaceted masthead while still retaining its social roots.
Today
Evoflux Industries believes that change is unavoidable and should be embraced. We have seen it happen within our community. We have seen it happen socially as we’ve aged. We’ve seen it technologically. We are the innovators that have kept a sense of humor through it all. If we can’t make fun of ourselves who can we make fun of?
The site Evoflux.com was founded by Nelson in November of 2001 as a way to communicate with friends and organizing events. It did have it’s humble beginnings as a blog which it still is used for to this day. Not only has it been a classical journal Evoflux has also served as a community forum for a small yet socially tight-knit group of friends.
Evoflux became Evoflux Industries as, throughout the years, more of its patrons began to play more of a supportive role in it’s maintenance. Currently we can begin blaming Jenni, Will, and Nick though the list goes on. If blame rests equally on everyone’s shoulders it makes getting together more fun.
The site is currently designed with Transitional XHTML 1.0 using CSS 2.1 by Nelson Barringer. Evoflux and Evoflux Forums are powered by Expression Engine which were developed by the wonderful people at Ellis Lab. Evoflux Industries also proudly uses Media Temple for all its hosting needs.
