These aren’t really a structured code as of more like guidelines and are subject to change at anytime so pay attention. Don’t take it too much to heart that we are a bunch of really easy going people where anything will fly. You fuck with us and you WILL go down.

Board-Wide Guidelines

1. Use some common sense.

2. Post in the relevant topic. If there isn’t a relevant topic post it to the General Discussion topic. Much is discussed here so if you believe there is a topic you would like to address please use the search function to find the proper post. When there are enough like minded topics (and when we deem it) we’ll start a new category for said topic. All previous posts prior will stay where they are.

3. Be respectful to the copyrights/trademarks of the owners of different types of media. This is as simple sometimes as giving credit where credit is due. If we do catch you breaking this you WILL go down.

4. If you are linking to media please always use the proper tags, use your own web space, or get permission from the owner of said web space beforehand. Either that or use a free public hoster (i.e., imageshack , etc.). Paying for bandwidth is a pain so keep this in mind.

5. Though the forums are for a general audience the usage of swear expletives are allowed. If you are under the age of 13 using these forums with a parent’s permission AND your parents start emailing me about some of the shit that’s said here it’s your own damn fault for lack of full disclosure. I hate the concepts of censorship in any form.

6. Be respectful of the environment and the other members of the site. Please don’t start flame wars since only you can prevent forest fires. If we see a flame war happening you’ll first be warned but only once.

7. Spam is not tolerated on the forums or to the members of this forum under any circumstances. Any posting or private messaging of spam will be removed as soon as we know about it, the offender will be warned once, and if the offender decides to continue they WILL go down.

8. Advertising is prohibited by the users. Ads will be deleted and their posters banned. Do not do this via the forums or the Private Message system.

9. Discussions involving warez, serialz, cracking, file-sharing, or reprinted media are strictly prohibited. Use some common sense here. If we do talk about it the forums as well as the site could get shut down and none of us want that.

10. Do not post topics or replies containing information which may detail a security vulnerability in Expression Engine. If you believe you have found a hole or other issue please contact their bug reporter. NOTE that this address is not to be used for general support questions. If you do email this address for a support issue do not expect a reply. This is our community so please don’t destroy it.

11. Evoflux staffers and regulation members reserve the right to edit, replace, or straight out delete posts which have the potential to end this site, shut down the forums, or land one or every member here in jail. If any member has an issue with one of their posts being changed please bring it up with the moderator of that forum through a private message. Include in the message what was said, how it was changed, and an intelligent argument as to why you think it should have not been modified.

12. The private messaging system is here for convenience’s sake so please do not abuse it. The guidelines for the forums also apply to PM’ing. I don’t want to have to remove this feature because of a member lacks the common sense for its usage.

Enforcement Policy

Currently enforcement of The Fluxer’s Code is to the discression of the Evoflux staff and regulation members. Breaking the guidelines could land you with a warning, a temporary ban, or a permenant ban so just use some common sense.
